Mishaal Rashid earned a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2023 and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of Houston in 2021. Mishaal has gained experience working in outpatient clinics, home health and more where she has provided evidence-based and individualized treatment. Her areas of expertise include feeding and swallowing, aphasia, early intervention, language disorders, fluency, autism spectrum disorder and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She is also certified in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach to feeding therapy.
Mishaal is passionate about delivering patient-centered care and involving families in the therapeutic process. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment while helping children develop confident and effective communication skills.
In her free time, Mishaal enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Fargo.
