Alexa Swing is an Arizona transplant who graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with an emphasis in American Sign Language (ASL). She has worked as an ASL educator and a registered behavior technician in ABA therapy with children on the Autism spectrum. Like many of her students, Alexa was in speech therapy for most of her early education years and loves to see kids benefit from similar opportunities to find their confidence and grow their knowledge of language. She is passionate about working with children with language/speech/hearing delays and hopes to become an SLPA in the future.
In her free time, she loves to play board games with her husband, go on walks around the city if the weather allows and listen to Christmas music all year round.
