Taylor Risch, MOT, OTR/L is a pediatric occupational therapist with seven years of experience in outpatient pediatrics. She is passionate about helping children build the skills and confidence they need to thrive while partnering closely with families every step of the way. Taylor believes every child has unique strengths and learns best when they feel understood and supported. She uses a neuroaffirming, child-led approach that celebrates each child’s individuality while addressing challenges in meaningful, play-based ways.
Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She has completed advanced training and certifications as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, in Ayres Sensory Integration®, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and DIRFloortime®. She has a special passion for supporting children with developmental differences and helping families feel confident, informed, and empowered to advocate for their child’s unique needs.
Taylor lives in Katy with her husband, their son Finley, and their two cats, Cinnamon and Pepper. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, singing karaoke, discovering new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors with her family.
